I have a new impeller LG washer and hate it – it takes WAY too long for a load – esp the final spin. Our old Amana could do a normal load in 30mins. Good article – disappointed to learn the long wait time is totally green driven!

Thank you for explaining this issue so clearly as I have been very frustrated at not finding a 40cm dishwasher.
I guess I’ll just have to learn to love my rubber gloves and keep my fingers crossed for new technology!

I have a space for a slimline dishwasher but I may not be able to use it. I have just had an air source heat pump installed and the pipes run behind this space, so that the dishwasher will stick out. However I know that some models, Indesit for example, have a cut away section at the back which may help. I apparently need around 14ish cm to clear the ASHP pipes, and the Indesit cutaway is 12.1 cm but this can possibly be adjusted with the feet. Failing that, I will need to get a table top but I want to put it into the space for the slimline and sit it on a shelf. But I want to have it plumbed in as the slimline would have been.

I am wondering the same thing, I am hoping I can run both the waste pip and water pipe down so I can use the y pipe under the sink but can 2 waste pipes fit in the same place?

Hello, I'd be grateful for your input. I'm planning a kitchen with a 84.5cm corpus height for the base cabinets, as both me and my husband are pretty tall. We would like to buy a fully integrated dishwasher, therefore we need to understand if because of a higher corpus height, we must also pay extra attention to the topic of the dishwasher. My question is: Which/what height size of a fully integrated dishwasher fits into a base cabinet with 84.5cm corpus size? Thank you in advance for any input

I have been on a search for the tallest, freestanding, slimline fridge freezer available. It is harder than you think to shortlist them. I am width limited to 580mm but not in terms of height and depth. Apart from a Beko 40/60model over 2m, there seems like little else on offer. Would be helpful to include the slimline range in this article. Thanks
